List of frequently asked questions

How do you respond to call outs?

We respond to call outs from SAPS and security firms, hospitals, doctors, social workers, Department of Social Development and other Non profit organisations. We have a team of de-briefers (who volunteer their services) 24 hours per day on call to attend to such matters.

How much do you charge for your services?

Our services to the public are free. We are a non profit organisation and depend on individual donations, businesses, and our own sustainable programmes to fund our organisation in meeting the needs of our community.

How do I go about seeing a counsellor or social worker?

For psycho-social services – please make an appointment with through our office and a date and time would be scheduled.

Who do you accommodate in your safe-house?

We only accommodate female victims of domestic violence and abuse. If a mother is in need of our services and it is unsafe for her children to remain at home she can bring them with her. We do NOT accommodate – homeless women, children under the age of 18 un-accompanied by their mothers, drug addicts, alcoholics, mental health patients, or any person under the influence of alcohol.
